SAMANTHA M. FITE, Attorney e-mail
Samantha Fite is the lead attorney at MSP Solutions.  Ms. Fite joined Ritsema & Lyon, P.C. in 2005 and practices in the areas of workers’ compensation and Medicare Seconday Payer law; however, her focus is on Medicare Secondary Payer issues.  Prior to joining Ritsema & Lyon, Ms. Fite worked for the Joffe Law Firm where she practiced criminal appellate law for the Alternate Defense Counsel.  Ms. Fite received her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000.  She subsequently received her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center where she was a senior articles editor for the Houston Journal of International Law.  She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, American Bar Association and National Association of Medicare Set Aside Professionals (NAMSAP).  Should you have questions regarding the Medicare Secondary Payer Statute and its associated regulations or desire training on these issues, please contact Ms. Fite directly at the above email.

DELORES DAFOE, Attorney e-mail
Delores Dafoe received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 1975.  She also earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver in 1985.  As a registered nurse in the state of Colorado, her background includes perioperative nursing at Swedish Medical Center, a Level I trauma center.  Ms. Dafoe’s diverse legal and medical background is a great asset to MSP Solutions’ clients due to the numerous medical and legal issues that must be addressed each day.
 
 

NICOLAS BRERETON, BSN, RN

Nicolas Brereton received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from OSF St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in 2006.  As a registered nurse in the state of Arizona, his background includes critical care nursing at University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona, a Level 1 trauma center.  He also worked for several years in the emergency room at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois.  Mr. Brereton's extensive medical experience gives him the ability to effectively determine future medical needs and expenses.
